Believing in the importance of education, AlFaisal Without Borders Foundation provides scholarships based on merit and academic excellence to students who are not able to fulfil their tuition fees in various schools and universities within the State of Qatar.
The types of scholarships offered by the foundation are categorized as follows:
- Sheikh Faisal bin Qasim Al-Thani University Scholarship.
- School Excellence Scholarship.
- Temporary Scholarship.
Scholarships General Controls and Standards:
- The student must have a high level of morals and everyone can testify to that.
- The average family income is not sufficient to support the student financially. (This will be determined based on the social researcher’s study from AlFaisal Foundation).
- Giving AlFaisal without Borders foundation full permission to follow up the student directly through the university or school.
- The student must be a resident of the State of Qatar, and the scholarship will be suspended in case his residency permission is canceled.
- The scholarship will be suspended if the student’s cumulative GPA has been decreased significantly for two consecutive semesters.
- The student is not allowed to combine more than one scholarships from different sources regardless of the source, and if so, the scholarship will be terminated immediately.
Scholarships Conditions:
- The student must fulfill the required criteria for the program he wishes to enroll in.
- Submitting the required documents correctly and to be approved by the official authorities.
- In case that the student withdraws or does not pass the semester, the provided scholarship will be canceled immediately.
