Terms and Conditions of the Award

Condition to nominate for the award:

1. Applications will be accepted starting from September  23, 2024.
2. The deadline for submitting applications is December15, 2024.
3. Applicants must complete the award application form in full.
4. A complete electronic version of the research must be submitted via the registration link.
5. The first author must attach a valid copy of their personal ID card or passport along with the application form.
6. The applicant’s name must be written in Arabic as it appears on the passport.

General rules:

• Research papers written in either Arabic or English are eligible for submission.
• Applicants must belong to one of the following categories: academics, teachers, or school leaders from universities, schools, or educational institutions in the Arab region.
• In the case of co-authored research within the academic category, the principal investigator must be affiliated with a university, school, or educational institution in the Arab region.
• The final list of nominees will be approved by the Award Committee, and nominees will not have the right to access evaluation reports or appeal the results.
• Research that has won the award cannot be submitted to any other institution.
• The lead researcher may not submit more than one research paper in any award category.
• The lead researcher must be proficient in Arabic, both spoken and written.
• Previous award winners from the last two cycles are not eligible to apply for the current cycle.
• The applicant must be the first author and the corresponding author in publications under the Educational Research and Excellence categories and the Academics category. In the Graduate Studies category, the applicant must be the first author but may not necessarily be the corresponding author.
• Research data must be collected from the same country where the researcher is employed on a full-time basis.
• Submissions in the Teachers and School Leaders categories should not include any authors from higher education institutions.
• Researchers are allowed to apply in only one category and cannot apply for multiple categories, even if they are co-authors on other research.
