A - Academic Category
- The research must be published or accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed international journal with an impact factor, as indexed by Thomson Reuters for English-language publications. For research published in Arabic, it must be published in one of the peer-reviewed journals approved by the award.
- The research must be closely related to educational issues in the Arab region.
- The principal researcher must be affiliated with a university, research center, or educational institution in the Arab region, and this affiliation must be clearly stated in the research.
- The research must not have been published more than two years prior to the submission for the award.
- The research must not have received any previous awards or been submitted for other awards.
- Research derived from master's theses or doctoral dissertations will not be accepted.
B - School principals, teachers, and professional practitioners:
- The principal researcher must be affiliated with a school or educational institution in the Arab region.
- The research must have been conducted within a school or educational institution in the Arab region.
- The research must present an original idea and address a pressing educational issue in the public or higher education sector in the Arab region.
- The research must not have received any previous awards or been submitted for other awards.
C - Postgraduate students:
- The research must be published or accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed educational journal.
- Research derived from master's or doctoral theses is accepted, but the original theses in their entirety are not accepted.
- The research must not have received any previous awards or been submitted for other awards.
- The principal researcher must be the student and not the supervising professor.
D - Undergraduate Students:
- The research must be conducted under the supervision of a faculty member at one of the universities in the Arab region, either as a graduation project or as part of research assignments.
- The research must not have received any previous awards or been submitted for other awards.
- The research must present a new idea and address a contemporary educational issue.
- The research must be well-written, with a word count between 2,000 and 3,000 words.
E - “Excellence Award in Educational Research”:
- The research must be published or accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed international journal with an impact factor of no less than 2.00, according to Thomson Reuters.
- The research should address one of the topics related to the applications of "Artificial Intelligence" in the educational field.
- The research must be relevant to the current educational landscape.
- The research must be distinguished, original, and innovative.
- The research should include new theoretical and practical applications that contribute effectively to the development of education and the improvement of learning.
- The research must be conducted entirely in one of the Arab countries.
- All research methodologies must be approved by an ethical review board or a recognized scientific authority.
- The principal researcher must be affiliated with a university, research center, or educational institution in the Arab region.
- The research must not have received any previous awards or been submitted for other awards.
- The research must have been published within the last two years from the date of the award announcement.
- The research must not be derived from a master's or doctoral thesis.
- The research must clearly outline its practical implications.
- The research must not be the result of a commission by an educational institution, university, or educational center.
- The research must exhibit linguistic accuracy and be free of errors.
- The research must comply with the standards and methodologies of scientific research.
